Captain Jack Sparrow is one of the main heroes in the Pirates Of The Caribbean film series - though he is more accurately described as a true anti-hero since he embodies the ideals of a true pirate, doing what he deems necessary to keep himself out of trouble (though usually failing at doing so). In all of the films the character is portrayed by Johnny Depp and is considered one of Disney's most popular modern heroes.
